The Rocky Mountain News said Friday it obtained the letter, which carries the signature of Willie D. Clark. Denver police have called him a person of interest in Williams’ slaying.

The Philadelphia Eagles extended the contract of general manager Tom Heckert through 2011 on Friday and replaced vice president of player personnel Jason Licht. Howie Roseman, formerly its vice president of football administration, will replace Licht, the team said.
